Funerals are a meaningful ceremony used to honor and mark out physical departure from this world. The funeral industry has created a standard of care that doesn’t work for everyone, yet people rarely know the full scope of what their options truly are. We are even seeing a trend to forgo this ritual all together because of lack of knowledge, funds or being overwhelmed with grief. In this workshop we will learn about body disposition options, home wakes and funerals and the financial navigation of funeral home offerings.
